The short version

BotRaid keeps your game on your device. Nothing is sent to us, because there is no BotRaid server. Three third parties are involved and only when the feature they power is used: Google Play (purchases, and the optional sign-in), Unity LevelPlay (advertising), and Google Play Games Services (the leaderboard and the optional cloud backup of your save).

Signing in is optional, is never required to play, and is never asked for unless you go looking for it.

What is stored on your device

Your entire game — territory, robots, currencies, levels, mission progress and settings — is written to your device's own app storage. It is not readable by other apps and it is removed when you uninstall the game.

We do not receive a copy of it unless you sign in and enable cloud backup, which is described below.

If you sign in with Google Play Games (optional)

BotRaid never signs you in on its own. There is no sign-in attempt at all for a player who has not linked an account. It is offered in exactly two places: the leaderboard screen, and the account row in Settings.

If you do sign in:

Signing out, or never signing in, removes all of the above from the picture. The game plays identically.

Google's handling of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising

BotRaid shows ads through Unity LevelPlay (ironSource), which mediates several advertising networks. Those networks may use your device's advertising ID and coarse technical information — device model, operating system version, approximate region derived from IP, and whether an ad was shown, clicked or completed — to select and measure ads.

We do not receive that information. We receive only aggregate revenue reporting.

If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks you before any of it happens, on a consent screen shown at first launch. If you decline, ads still appear but are non-personalised — the networks are told not to profile you. You can change the answer at any time in Settings.

If you are in the United States, the same screen offers the "Do not sell or share my personal information" opt-out required by the CCPA/CPRA, and it is honoured by passing the opt-out signal to the ad networks.

Watching a rewarded video is always your choice. Declining costs you nothing but the reward.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. BotRaid never sees, receives or stores your payment card, billing address or Google account details. We are told only that a specific product was purchased, so that the game can deliver it.

Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy.

Children

BotRaid is not directed at children. It is declared as such in the Google Play Console under "Target audience and content", and the app tells the advertising SDK the same thing.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has provided information through a Google account signed into this game, contact us at the address at the top and we will help you remove it.

Deleting your data

On the device. Settings → Reset account erases the local profile. Uninstalling the game removes it entirely.

In your Google account. Because the cloud save and the leaderboard entry live in *your* Google Play Games account rather than on our servers, you delete them the same way you delete any Play Games data:

Google Play Games app → Settings → Delete Play Games account data, or https://myaccount.google.com/ → Data & privacy.

You can delete the data for BotRaid specifically, or for all games at once.

By asking us. Write to the address at the top of this page. Because we hold no account database, in practice we will point you at the two routes above and confirm we hold nothing further — but if you would rather have that in writing, ask and you will get it within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. For the advertising consent specifically, withdrawal is a single toggle in Settings and takes effect immediately.

To exercise any of these, contact chilltadolab@gmail.com.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

What we do not do

Stated explicitly, because policies of this kind usually list these whether or not they apply, and none of them apply here:

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above changes with it and the updated policy is published at this same URL before the change takes effect in the app.
